I am so proud to be the pastor of a “pastoring a church.” The image of pastor is a familiar one in the church and usually conjures up a picture of a man/woman in a black robe – with a theological degree – who preaches on Sunday and visits sick people, newcomers, and others throughout the week. In the last week or so our church has surrounded a woman who is very sick with cancer – and also serves as our organist. She is much loved and has been the recipient of singing, food, yard work, and other kinds of helpful visitation. It is noteworthy that whenever a group shows up – her spirit rises.
We would gladly welcome you to become part of our “pastoring church.”
