Sunday marked the ninth anniversary of a freak fall in my Cartersville bathroom that led my life in an altogether new direction. The accident left me with a C/5 spinal cord injury and my prospects for walking – and even working – were dim. After three weeks at Emory University Hospital and three months at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta I made significant progress – but that’s just the start. After stepping down from my current job at the time I was called to a small church here in Greensboro, whose website you have before you. This is indeed a great church; we are growing; we reach out and embrace every new visitor in the same way that the congregation has embraced a disabled pastor. I hope you will join us one day. I, for one, would love to meet you and celebrate whatever you are celebrating! God is indeed here!
