Looking for a Home

This week marks the eighth anniversary of my call to be pastor for the First Presbyterian Church PCUSA of Greensboro. It is a miracle of God’s Providence that I am here – and I could not be happier. In April, 2004 I had a freak accident in my home and suffered a serious spinal cord injury that left me a “walking quadriplegic.” After three months of rehab I went back to work part time as General Presbyter for Cherokee Presbytery. When it became obvious that I was not able to do that kind of work any longer God put Greene County in my way – and the rest is history! This church has loved me and my wife in a remarkable way – and so has the community. If you are new in the community and looking for a church home – come visit us at 11:00 AM next Sunday.
