Many times our Lord used the image of a banquet to illustrate being in His presence. Being invited to a banquet is a sign that you are special. That is the way Jesus thinks about you and is also how we seek to treat you too.
I have only been here a short while and I know just how much the church has made my wife Joan and myself feel not only welcome, but that we are special. FPOG has that knack of making people feel special. I hope you website guests will try us out in person as well.
My focus here at FPOG is to support the church in efforts to go deeper in knowledge and relationship with God and with the community. At the same time, we also focus on developing a greater self-awareness as a congregation in a healthy sort of way. In my experience as a pastor, these kinds of endeavors lead to a sense of joy, encouragement and deep growth for individuals and for the church as a whole. In joining us, I hope you will find that our attitude is truly about participating in life.
